Tables are an easy way to keep a layout in order on a web page. Using tables can be a little tricky, but with a little practice you will master them quickly.
Place cursor into the section of the WUC where you wish to insert the table.
Click "Insert Table" button from toolbar.
You will see the Table Wizard pop up window, this gives you all the options for the construction of the table.
Rows - go across from left to right.
Columns - go top to bottom.
Table Width - can be measured in pixels (300 pixels) which would be a set width, or in a percentage (100%) which will make the table 100% of the screen or object it is placed in, no matter how large the monitor is.
Border Thickness - this number gives you the size of the border around the table in a fixed number of pixels. If you set the thickness to 0 your table border will be invisible but still keep everything in the layout format.
Cell Spacing - this is the width between the inside and outside borders of a table.
Cell Padding - this is the padding between the content of the cell and the border of the cell.
After you have all the settings for your table just click "Insert Table". You will see the table inserted into the WUC Editor. Below is the results from the default Table Wizard Settings which you see above.
As you see from the picture above you can adjust the table size or move the table after it is inserted into the WUC Editor. Just place your cursor over the border of the table for the cross hair or click the border of the table for the boxes to change the size of the box.
After your table is inserted into the WUC Editor, all you do is click in the cell which you wish to enter content.
When you are finished editing your content just click the "Update Website" button.
