Insert a picture using WUC

Back To Support Index
  1. STOP! Before inserting an image into WUC you must upload it to the server, you can get instructions on how to do that here.
  2. Click the "Add Image" button from the toolbar.

  3. You will receive a script prompt. This is where you will need to tell the WUC where the picture is located on the server or on the internet for an external web site. The url will have the first part of the file path already in the box, you just need to add the name of the picture and the extension. In this example "bluehat.jpg".
For an external web site just remove the URL that is loaded in the window and type in the new URL. (If you plan to use a picture from an external website make sure you get the site owners permission first.)

  4. You will now see the picture in the WUC field if you entered the URL correctly. You can now stretch or move the picture by "grabbing" the boxes around the picture with your mouse.

If the picture could not be found you will get this missing file picture.

Make sure your file path is correct, also check the spelling and make sure the extension you typed matches the actual file.

  5. If the picture shows up in the WUC editor you are good to go. Just click the "Update the Web Site" button.
